The length of your gas tube system should be clearly labeled by the manufacturer of your rifle or AR-15 upper. The size of the quad rail handguard you want to use will depend on the length of the gas tube system on your rifle.

I was a bit confused when I first opened it because I was thinking the muzzle end slipped under the retention ring, but it in fact goes over the ring at the end. But there is absolutely no wobble on the rails whatsoever, at this price range you won’t find better and I’d even put this against more expensive brand name drop in rails. After taking it to the range my only complaint is that the rails get so hot you can’t continue to hold the rifle without gloves or very good rail covers (I had neither). Installation was nowhere near as easy as they make it look in the YouTube videos (it was my first time) but it’s absolutely doable and will fit beautifully on any Standard AR. I can' t give it a perfect score and I haven' t fired it yet but it looks and feels solid and the rifle still feels lightweight after install.
I added a few thin strips of hi temp silicone rubber tape for dampening and heat insulation. Be frugal with what you remove to maintain level across the top rail. Like others have mentioned, you will have to grind off some along the interior to get a proper fit still worth it. 4 Content despite the extra work involved to install.
